Staff Accountant

Description Are you interested in working for an investment firm in Miami, Brickell? Primary Function:The Staff Accountant will help to establish and maintain quality control over financial transactions and various reporting. The Staff Accountant will provide accounting support to major financial accounting areas, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger accounting, operations, and Bank reconciliation.Key Responsibilities:· Process Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable billing, collections, and cash receipts.· Maintain regular contact with other departments to obtain and convey information as it relates to operations and other functional departments.· Participate in the process of improvement of accounting procedures and controls· Knowledge and experience with the software SAGE· Inventory accuracy auditing and transaction analysis· Fixed Assets- create, track, and capitalize· Assist in the month-end and year-end closing process, reconciliations.· Develop and maintain regular reports via the company’s accounting system to assist in data mining, reconciliations, and analysis.· Perform other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring efficient functioning of the accounting department· Assist with internal and external audits as neededIf you meet qualifications please email your resume to victoria.marc@roberthalf.co or call 786.801.5830 Requirements Part time 20-25 HRs per weekRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
