The newly completed tower offers 646 fully furnished rooms/residences, over 19,000 square feet of curated amenities and 5,000 square feet of prime retail space. Named after the iconic Elser Pier, which was built in the 1900s and became the premier place for locals and visitors to enjoy the magical shoreline of Biscayne Bay in downtown Miami, The Elser Hotel & Residences will continue this tradition. The Sales and Operations Coordinator supports the General Manager and Director of Sales and Marketing in achieving operational / financial objectives through use and knowledge of Software Applications, Maintenance and Management of All Operations and Sales Analysis. Primary responsibilities include training staff on sales systems and department procedures, troubleshooting system related issues, database management, completing and running operations and sales related reports for the department, assisting staff with data entry into sales systems and general administrative responsibilities and project management for the Executive Office.

Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which includes wearing the proper uniform and nametag.

Comply with Highgate Hotel Standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations.

Maximize efforts towards productivity, identify problem areas and assist in implementing solutions.

Must be effective in handling problems, including anticipating, preventing, identifying and solving problems as necessary.

Must be able to understand and apply complex information, data, etc. from various sources to meet appropriate objectives.

Must be able to cross-train in other hotel related areas.

Must be able to maintain confidentiality of information.

Must be able to show initiative, including anticipating guest or operational needs.

Perform other duties as requested by management.

At least one year of progressive experience in a hotel or a related field required

High School diploma or equivalent required

College course work in related field preferred.

At least two years experience in Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint required

At least one year experience in MS Access, SQL Queries, or Data Warehousing helpful

Experience with LAN, WAN in an NT or Windows Environment and Database Management helpful

Experience in an Internet or Intranet environment helpful

Knowledge of Request For Proposal (RFP) process and/or Corporate Volume Accounts helpful

Experience with Budget, Expense, End of the Month, and Competitive Analysis Reports beneficial
