MECHANICAL DESIGNER/DRAFTERIN-OFFICE

compensation: Hourly, Commensurate with Experience

employment type: Part-time (20-25 hrs/wk), IN-OFFICE ONLY (during normal business hours: 830am-5pm, M-F) with possibility to move to full-time at a later date

Growing, specialized engineering firm is seeking a full time mechanical/structural designer/drafter. The company primarily prepares mechanical and structural drawings for mechanical systems and equipment. It is at the forefront of technology with capabilities such as 3D modeling and finite element analysis.

Duties include, but are not limited to the following:

Prepare mechanical drawings

Prepare structural drawings

Collect and process information and data for those drawings

Assist with special projects when required

Software Requirements:

Must be very proficient in AutoCAD recent versions

Microsoft Office (word, excel, etc.)

Desirable – Solidworks, AutoCAD MEP
