Route Driver / warehouse

This position is primarily for a route driver with a few days of possible warehouse work. This position does not require a CDL and would primarily be driving an isuzu npr type box truck 14-16 ft. The position would require getting in and out of the vehicle taking an empty container into the customers office and bringing out a full container all while maintaining a professional appearance and rapport. The routes are primarily North Florida area with an occasional South Georgia Route. This position requires starting in the mornings since most of our customers close around 5 pm. The position would require punctuality, some lifting is also required so applicant would need to be in good health. It is preferred that the applicant be between 30-50 years of age. The position requires working outdoors going from truck to offices sometimes in inclement weather , hot , cold or raining. With this position employee may occasionally be around unusual or unpleasant odors. Our customers are required to have this service so there are very few exceptions ,requiring the employee to be diligent in work ethic. The position requires being around medical waste and that the employee be agreeable to this on a daily basis. This is a salary position and varies slightly with experience. The applicants driving record and background may be checked to verify eligibility to access sensitive areas. This position is 4 days per week aproximately 6-8 hours per day monday through thursday giving friday, saturday and sunday off. This position does not offer internal retirement or healthcare, benefits are through the payroll service we use. This position does require some faster paced work, so if you are not interested in actual work this may not be for you.
