Looking for caregivers for Cape Coral group home

Pay is $15.00/hr

Innerself Home Care is a private residence for individuals with disabilities in Cape Coral, FL. This group home is currently seeking caregivers to assist these individuals with their daily lives in various ways. As a caregiver, you will be caring for these individuals under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

A caregiver is expected to do the following:

- Assist residents in tasks throughout the day, including but not limited to cooking, feeding, grooming, bathing, bathroom functions, and administering medication on schedule

- Help residents stay occupied and comfortable while at home

- Write shift notes on resident activities, behaviors, and incidents

- Fulfil miscellaneous tasks, such as cleaning and organization

- Demonstrate genuine patience and care for these individuals

Skills and Requirements:

- Experience in a caregiving setting

- Experience administering medications on a scheduled basis

- Must be proficient in English to communicate with residents

- High School Diploma or GED

- Clean record – must pass local law and Level II background checks

Preferences:

- Experience in a medical setting

- Experience caring for individuals with disabilities

- Knowledge of HIPAA and healthcare compliance

- CNA license or higher

- First Aid and CPR certifications
