Massage Therapist Independent Contractor

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our team.

As a Massage Therapist, you will provide therapeutic massage treatments to clients to promote relaxation, relieve muscle tension, and improve overall well-being. If you have a passion for helping others and possess excellent massage techniques, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

- Perform patient assessments to determine the appropriate massage techniques and treatment plans

- Administer various massage techniques such as Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and sports massage lymphatic drainage

- Assist in acute pain management by applying appropriate massage techniques

- Utilize your knowledge of anatomy and physiology to target specific muscle groups and address client concerns

- Offer exceptional patient service by creating a comfortable and relaxing environment

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, including medical history and treatment plans

- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care

- Stay informed about the latest developments in massage therapy and attend relevant workshops or training sessions

Experience:

- Proven experience as a Massage Therapist or in a similar role

- In-depth knowledge of pain management techniques and medical terminology

- Proficiency in conducting physical examinations and patient assessments

- Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and trigger point therapy

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
