Weekdays, join us for romantic waterfront dining by celebrated Chef Steve Rhee. On weekends kicking off Friday nights, Mykonos comes to Miami with live DJ and a party atmosphere featuring a festive soundtrack, twirling napkins, and dancing that will make you say “opa!” Position Overview: Kiki on the River is seeking a motivated and experienced Floor Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, a strong leadership presence, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. The Floor Manager will oversee daily operations, manage employees, and ensure a memorable dining experience for our guests. Key Responsibilities: Staff Management: Recruit, train, and supervise front-of-house staff. Schedule and manage staff shifts to ensure adequate coverage and efficiency. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to employees. Address any staff issues or concerns in a timely and professional manner. Customer Service: Ensure exceptional customer service by training employees on service standards and guest relations. Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback promptly and professionally. Monitor guest satisfaction and implement improvements as necessary. Operations Management: Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth and efficient service. Manage reservations, seating arrangements, and waitlists to maximize restaurant capacity. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized restaurant environment. Manage inventory, order supplies, and control costs to optimize profitability. Financial Management: Monitor sales performance and financial targets, and implement strategies to achieve revenue goals. Prepare and manage the restaurant’s budget, including labor and operating expenses. Monitor and control food and beverage costs to ensure profitability. Team Development and Training: Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for staff to enhance their skills and performance. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment to promote team cohesion and morale. Event Coordination: Coordinate and manage private events, parties, and special promotions as required. Work closely with the marketing and events team to promote the restaurant and attract new customers. Other duties as assigned Requirements: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry. Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in restaurant POS systems and other relevant software. Knowledge of food and beverage industry trends and best practices. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
