  • Client desires a Product Owner of Consumer Engagement to optimize and improve engagement, retention and usage of there existing web portals
  • The Product Owner of Consumer Engagement for client will drive the strategic vision and value proposition by engaging consumers through newly concepted portal experiences, developing online and cross device communication strategies, release prototypes to test each experience, and confirm success by leveraging data to drive the process.
  • The Product Owner of Consumer Engagement is engaged throughout the full lifecycle of each experience. This starts with assessing the opportunity with key stakeholders, articulating the value and scope of work, communicating timelines and expectations, gathering requirements, establishing success criteria and adapting the plan where necessary.
  • Our ideal candidate will have successful experience developing and releasing consumer engagement experiences, journeys and campaigns to increase user retention and engagement metrics across web platforms. The candidate will need to demonstrate their past success through illustrations of increases in DAU, WAUs, MAUs, user sessions, retention or other engagement metrics.
  • Client is looking for an energetic, motivated self-starter that has a passion for technology and can bridge the business needs with an understanding of technology, integration and innovation capabilities.
What you'll do Create and maintain value driven applications that will drive consumer engagement improvement across the web platforms; lead the product development of profile / my account feature, personalization engine, communication management across devices, and notifications. Coordinate across organizational boundaries to ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget in an agile environment; expectations are set and delivered upon. Lead product development efforts by gathering requirements, facilitating design, and creating solutions with the engineering staff day in and day out. Define and drive a high-quality consumer experience roadmap for each specific feature or product. Work closely with consumers, business intelligence, designers, UX researchers, engineering teams, and product management in an agile environment to deliver products to market quickly. Drive product launches including working with product marketing, beta test groups, account management and operations, executives, and other team members. Conceptualize and lead a team to develop foundational consumer experiences and features that can be leveraged cross-platform, desktop, app, white label. Drive the go-to-market strategy, supporting documentation, and follow-up reporting. Present product iterations to your product stack. Provide training on products internally and externally to ensure functionality and limitations are clearly understood. Continuously propose new A/B tests to improve the user retention and user engagement rate; introduce new product features and functions based on product success and progression. Track, interpret and prioritize product KPIs and feedback through business intelligence dashboards. Make data driven decisions on product direction. Collect, analyze and present metrics for user engagement to your product stack. Maintain constant communication with all stakeholders. What you'll bring 7+ years focused product ownership experience driving consumer web-basedengagement and retention experiences. 5+ years of product ownership experience in an Agile development environment. 5+ Years working with technology driven products. 5+ years working with highly trafficked web portals. BS/BA degree. MBA or equivalent preferred Must have experience and proficiency using Jira for product backlog, sprint and requirement management. Must have in depth experience using Google Analytics to query and measure performance. Experience conducting JAD (Joint Application Development) Sessions. Experience building out detailed product requirements aligned to functional areas. Excellent grasp of product / software development life cycle, working within an Agile environment. Ability to manage multiple co-located teams. Demonstrated project ownership experience at a senior level. Knowledge of mobile and web development processes. Experience leading the building / launching products with complex code bases, combining legacy and new code. A desire to work with others to formulate product plans that will drive strategic vision to success. The drive to be a subject-matter expert on new or established products. Willingness to make a quick reasoned decision that can be articulated to others within the business; not afraid of failure. A passion for driving product excellence. Must be fluent in English.
