All while understanding that together we are even better.Schedule: Full Time, M-FShift : 10am-6:30pmLocation: AdventHealth Deland701 West Plymouth Avenue, Deland Florida 3272050% Travel through East Region HospitalsThe role you’ll contribute:The Consumer Access and System Subject Matter Expert ("SME") Analyst supports the operations of the Divisional market Consumer Access teams by acting as an intermediary between Revenue Cycle teams and support teams to help translate Revenue Cycle operational needs and evaluate feasibility of performance success for all AdventHealth acute operations. The Consumer Access and System SMEs Analyst performs as a subject matter expert of all Revenue Cycle Systems, specialized in Consumer Access processes through comprehensive understanding of Revenue Cycle operational workflows combined with an understanding of technical capabilities. This role involves extensive collaboration with other Process Improvement and Business Support functional areas, including but not limited to Processes, Analytics, Quality, Education, and Project Management teams. The Consumer Access and System SMEs Analyst will adhere to AdventHealth Compliance standards, as well as rules and regulations of all applicable local, state, and federal agencies and accrediting bodies.The value you’ll bring to the team:

Collaborates with teams across end-to-end Consumer Access, Pre-Access, and other Revenue Cycle functional areas to help translate operational and business requirements to end users and leaders.

Provides ongoing SME support to guide complex initiatives for applications utilized by Consumer Access and Pre-Access functional area departments and recommends the best usage of systems and technologies to accomplish operational goals and drive process efficiencies.

Assists with implementation and testing of Consumer Access and Pre-Access applications by ensuring automations, dashboards, and other applications provide accurate and usable data through ongoing testing and communication with Revenue Cycle functional areas and leaders to increase effectiveness

Identifies opportunities and provides actionable recommendations for process improvement in support of strategic initiatives as they pertain to Consumer Access and Pre-Access business processes, resources, and applications and their ongoing usage throughout Consumer Access and Pre-Access, relays findings and recommended action plans to Consumer Access and Pre-Access leadership

Coordinates and lead feedback and calibration sessions with team members, managers/supervisors to leverage quality management tools that assist in the training and coaching of consumer access and pre-access team members. Participates in department initiatives/meetings.

Collaborates with the Corporate Education team, Vendor Management team, Project Management team, and other Revenue Cycle leaders and end users to provide operational SME support during the design and execution of strategic Revenue Cycle initiatives for all third-party applications assessment, integration, and workflow management,

Collaborates with the Education and Quality Audit teams to assess trends and performs root cause analysis on key pain points. Recommends process and technology enhancements to drive process and financial performance.

Provides recommendations on policies and procedures that will better improve efficiency of employees and/or improve our consumer. Sorts priorities and accomplishes those of greatest importance. Utilizes verbal ability to analyze issues and effectively present ideas and views to audiences at various levels.

Creates and provides department continuing education and leadership development material. Helps support and train customers/vendors, revenue cycle support staff, and internal/external stakeholders on revenue cycle applications and processes with basic expertise.

Provides Go- Live Support to include necessary travel to AHS facilities within and out of state. Ability to meet necessary travel requirements. Provides on-call support or at the elbow support as required to support facility operations or training needs.

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed :Minimum qualifications :

High School Education or GED

One year of Hospital Revenue Cycle related experience
