Hiring Title Clerk at Busy Car Lot
Florida, Daytona beach 00000 Daytona beach USAThe Title Clerk is responsible for accurately processing vehicle titles, registrations, and related paperwork. This position ensures all documents are properly completed, filed, and maintained in compliance with state and federal regulations. The Title Clerk will work closely with customers, dealerships, and regulatory agencies to facilitate smooth vehicle transactions.
Registration Management:
-Process vehicle registrations and renewals.
-Issue license plates and registration stickers.
-Maintain up-to-date records of all title and registration transactions.
-Ensure that titles are transferred correctly between buyers, sellers, and lienholders.
-Verify title information for accuracy and completeness, including VIN numbers, odometer readings, and owner details.
Lienholder Coordination:
-Coordinate with lienholders to add or release liens on vehicle titles.
-Ensure proper filing of lien documents and maintain lienholder records.
Customer Service:
-Assist customers with questions related to titles, registration, and vehicle ownership transfers.
-Provide assistance with forms and document requirements for title transfers.
-Handle any discrepancies in titles or registrations and resolve issues in a timely manner.
Record Keeping and Documentation:
-Maintain accurate records of all title and registration activities.
-Update and file all necessary documents in compliance with state regulations.
-Ensure all documents are stored securely and are easily retrievable when needed.
Compliance and Regulatory Adherence:
Ensure that all transactions comply with state, local, and federal laws regarding vehicle titles and registrations.
Stay updated on changes in vehicle title and registration laws and regulations.
Data Entry and Systems Management:
-Enter title and registration data into computer systems or databases.
-Generate reports on title and registration activity as needed.
Qualifications:
-Previous experience in title processing, automotive administration, or a related field preferred, but not required.
-Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
-Excellent customer service and communication skills.
-Ability to work with various software systems related to vehicle titles and registrations.
-Basic computer and internet knowledge is required.
