Part-Time Janitor and Security Guard w/ the Possibility of Full-Time

Ocean Walk Shoppes is seeking reliable and hardworking individuals to fill Part-Time Janitor and Part-Time Security Guard positions, with the potential to transition to full-time based on performance and business needs. Job Responsibilities:

Janitor:

As a Janitor, you will play a key role in keeping the property clean, organized, and disinfected.

Your duties will include:

Cleaning interior spaces, including floors, carpets, rugs, windows, and walls

Disinfecting frequently touched surfaces such as desks, door handles, office tools, and phones

Maintaining cleaning inventory and ordering supplies when needed

Keeping outdoor grounds tidy, including cutting grass and trimming bushes

Removing debris from sidewalks

Emptying trash and recycling bins

Stocking and maintaining supply rooms

Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors

Cleaning and maintaining restrooms

Washing and cleaning windows and mirrors

Notifying supervisors of any unsafe conditions

Operating cleaning equipment, including floor scrubbers

Dusting furniture and fixtures

Job Responsibilities:

Security Guard:

As a Security Guard, your main responsibility will be ensuring the safety and security of the premises and the people within.

Your duties will include:

Monitoring and Patrolling the Plaza and surrounding areas

Responding to emergencies and incidents

Mediating conflicts and resolving disputes

Assisting customers and vendors with inquiries or issues

Enforcing safety protocols

Writing detailed logs and reports

Requirements:

Previous experience is preferred but not required

Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Must be reliable and punctual

Good communication skills and excellent customer service for the security guard position

Physical ability to perform janitorial and security duties
