Salary Rate: $35,349.60 annually SALARY WILL BE DETERMINED IN ACCORDANCE WITH CURRENT PAY POLICY. SPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Processes inmate requests pertaining to general and law library service.
Ensures the library is available to the inmates a minimum of 25 hours per week
Assigns research duties to inmate clerks.
Answers requests and grievances within mandatory time limits.
Performs photocopying.
Supervises activities of inmate aides and clerks.
Reviews research aides’ responses to requests.
Monitors check out and return of library materials.
Monitors interlibrary loan processing.
Monitors use of copy machine.
Ensures accuracy of records.
Evaluates clerk performance for gain time review.
Initiates appropriate disciplinary action.
Documents provision of library services.
Collects data and compiles reports for librarian approval.
Forwards law library invoices.
Forwards charge forms.
Maintains inventory of supplies.
Manage the resources of the library in accordance with the rules and statutes in place

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or its equivalent.
