Auto Body Technician (Certified)

FX Collision Center is looking for Certified Auto Body Technicians to join our team.

Candidates must be certified and have hands-on auto body repair experience. Applicants must have a strong work ethic, work efficiently, have reliable transportation, and maintain a positive attitude with professional conduct. Must be able to follow directions and demonstrate a high level of motivation.

Requirements:

Auto Body Technician certification REQUIRED (I-CAR, ASE, or equivalent)

Proven auto body repair experience

Strong work ethic and efficiency

Reliable transportation

Professional attitude and conduct

Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team

Auto Body Technician – Essential Duties:

Repair vehicles according to estimates and manufacturer standards

Check parts against estimates and ensure proper parts are ordered and received

Prepare vehicles for body repair work

Notify management of any additional repairs needed

Notify management of any difficulties or issues that may affect quality or promised completion time

Maintain tools and equipment in proper working condition

Maintain and wear all required safety and health personal protective equipment, including respirators, as recommended by the manufacturer

Comply with all laws and regulations related to paint, thinners, and hazardous materials; report any deviations to management

Cooperate and assist other personnel in the repair and preparation of vehicles

Operate all tools and equipment safely

Perform other duties as assigned
