Hiring Experienced Journeyman Electrician

Our company is hiring a motivated licensed Journeyman electrician based near our office by Dulles Airport in Sterling, Virginia. Applicant should have the experience to lead a truck for residential projects with a touch of commercial.

We are not a general electrical contractor, our projects are specialized in level 2 and level 3 EV station installations. On the job training for EV charging specifics will be provided. We are searching for the right candidate, interested in the focus area of our company, ready to learn and grow in the EV charging market.

Specific Responsibilities:

-Maintains a clean and safe work environment and reports any unsafe working conditions or equipment.

-Install, maintain, and repair electrical distribution and electrical vehicle charging system equipment

-Determine condition of electrical equipment, troubleshoot malfunctions, and determine needed repairs

-Work in both residential and commercial electrical distribution equipment.

-Identify materials and quantities needed for new and repair projects

-Evaluate customer requests and provide work order descriptions and price projects

-Follow established processes and procedures

Job Requirements:

- Journeyman Electrician license

- Commute to Sterling, VA

- Clean driving record

- Clean background check

- Physically able to lift heavy objects (60lb) and dig with hand tools as necessary

- Knowledge of of standard residential and commercial electrical distribution systems

- Proficiency to navigate technology, including but not limited to EV charger setup procedures, digital job scheduling programs and estimating programs

-Ability to manage day to day operations on projects

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $30.00 - $42.00 per hour depending on experience.

Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
