Law Counsel is recruiting attorneys/paralegals to work on an assignment with Business Services group of a large DC law firm.

The work entails checking/screening conflicts of new hires and clients of the firm. This is not a document review project. The work is detailed oriented and can be administrative in nature. Strong attention to detail and excellent computer skills are needed.

Attorneys and experienced paralegals are welcome to apply. A law degree/license is not required.

The hourly rate is $32.00 per hour and 1.5 for OT. Hours are 40 per week on a Monday thru Friday work schedule for the first 2 months.

The expected duration is through the end of this year, possibly longer - candidates must be comfortable making this long term commitment.

During the first 2 months while you are going through training (which is paid), the work is ONSITE 5 days per week.

After the training is complete, it turns into a hybrid position which requires working onsite for 3 days at the law firm located in Washington, DC and 2 days remotely. The hours also increase to a cap of 60 hours after the 2 month period and you can work remotely on weekend/evenings (but still have to be in the office 3 days).

The start date is targeted for the week of May 13, 2024.
