Maintenance Person – Small Apartment Building

Job Type: Full-time / Part-time (with potential for additional work)

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking maintenance person to help with repairs, general maintenance, cleaning, and apartment turnover for a small apartment building in Northwest Washington, DC.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct repairs and perform general maintenance tasks around the building, including light plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work

Assist with apartment turnovers and ensure all units are in good condition

Perform routine cleaning of common areas as needed

Ensure the building is well-maintained and address any issues promptly

Communicate effectively with the property manager regarding maintenance needs

Qualifications:

Must live within 30 minutes of the property

Previous experience in building maintenance, repairs, or a related field preferred

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently

Good communication skills with Tenants with Management

Compensation:

Monthly fee to be established / additional fees for apartment turnover
