Dental Assistant Part Time

Modern growing general dentistry practice in historic downtown Leesburg in search of an exceptional Dental Assistant that loves to have fun, cares for people and works to make a difference every day. Responsibilities will include fostering a welcoming environment for the patient and facilitating an efficient workflow for the doctor. This is one day per week on Saturdays 830 to 330.

General Qualifications:

Minimum two years experience as a dental assistant

Excellent and empathetic communicator

Technology adept

Enthusiastic, collaborative and dependable

X-ray and CPR certification required

Skills/Experience/Responsibilities:

Ability to capture panoramic, peri-apical and bitewing x-rays

Digital impression scanning

Familiarity assisting with all general dentistry procedures

Coronal polishing and fluoride application

Fabricating temporary restorations

Taking preliminary alginate impressions

Charting in practice management system

Maintaining a clean and safe environment according to established protocols
