The Applicant must have a Driving License with at least 3 years of Experience and a clean driving record.
Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills. Experience and/or knowledge in home health or home care, and especially working with the elderly and people with disabilities is preferred.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent . (required)
- Home Health care experience: 2 years (required)
- Customer Service: 2 years (required)
- Microsoft Office: 2 years (required)
- Experience with any data base entry software: 2 years (required)
The Office/Care Assistant will assistant with scheduling and coordinating all personal and companion care services for all assigned clients. The Office/Care Assistant will also assist in recruiting and hiring of HHAs, CNAs, or companion caregivers.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Answers incoming calls in a professional and knowledgeable manner.
- Communicates with clients and employees regarding scheduling and care.
- Ensures qualified staff are based on competency and availability to provide quality care in accordance with client’s plan of care
- Receives and communicates clients concerns and incidents to the supervisor as necessary.
- Follows up customer service to new and old clients and their family to ensure clients needs are being met. This includes quality assurance visits to the clients home.
- Every Other Weekend availability on a rotating schedule
- Assist to maintain caregiver records and training documentation
- Provide Assistant to Onboarding and Orientation of care givers
- Additional duties as assigned
Skill Requirements:
- Acts as Client advocate, having empathy and respect towards client care and concerns of the client.
- Positive and professional attitude.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Computer literacy and adaptability
- Being able to effectively work independently .
Office/Care Assistant Duties
- Provide Care to Client Assistant to some aspects of office operations
- Provide Assistant to some aspects of office operations
- Coordinate and schedule meetings, appointments, and events
- provide Assistant to handle incoming and outgoing correspondence
- Assist with tasks such as recruiting, Credentialing and scheduling.
- Coordinate Appointments and tasks
- Proven experience in office Assistant or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of office practices and procedures
- Experience in Office Assistant tasks such as filing, data entry, and record keeping.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Great communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience in calendar management
