You must have proven 1+ year dental assisting experience to be considered.
Salary commensurate with experience, at least $25/hour. Benefits: paid holidays, PTO, 401K, health insurance, paid CE.
Requirements
Current Dental Assistant certification in Maryland (preferred)
Current Radiology certification in Maryland (required)
1+ years of proven experience (references will be checked)
Thoroughness and attention to detail in chart notes
Familiar with dental procedures and associated room and equipment setup
Familiar with treatment room disinfection & sterilization procedures and equipment sterilization procedures
Ability to take accurate iTero scans & intraoral photos
Ability to take impressions and pour proper models
Understand common dental treatments and clearly explain them to patients
Adhere to OSHA requirements, HIPAA policies, and clinical operating procedures
Outstanding communication skills
Personable and sunny demeanor
Calming and comforting manner
Patience to work with patients of all ages and abilities, including young children, the elderly, and those with physical and developmental disabilities
Genuine empathy and desire to care for and help others
