Caregiver or CNA for active quadriplegic woman

Seeking a part-time caregiver, primarily for weekend shifts, but flexible availability is a plus. Positions involves caring for a 73 year old female with a spinal cord injury that left her paralyzed from the chest down. Shifts are typically around 3-5 hours either in the morning (roughly 6 or 7 a.m. to 11 a.m.) or evening (roughly 4 pm to 10 pm) but flexibility is a must as the hours vary. Caregiving experience or training is helpful but is NOT required. We provide all necessary training. Pay starts at $20 per hour but is based on qualifications and experience. Duties will include bathing, dressing, feeding, bowel and catheter care, transfers between bed and wheelchair, laundry, cooking, light housekeeping, and general assistance with all activities of daily living. We are seeking someone who will be part of the family and who can help my mom continue to live her best life despite her physical injury. A positive attitude, warm disposition, and loving heart are musts.
