Dental Assistant Full/Part Time

Modern growing general dentistry practice in historic downtown Leesburg in search of an exceptional Dental Assistant that loves to have fun, cares for people and works to make a difference every day. Responsibilities will include fostering a welcoming environment for the patient and facilitating an efficient workflow for the doctor. Candidates less qualified based on experience list below welcomed to apply as well.

General Qualifications:

Minimum two years experience as a dental assistant

Excellent and empathetic communicator

Technology adept

Enthusiastic, collaborative and dependable

X-ray and CPR certification required

Skills/Experience/Responsibilities:

Ability to capture panoramic, peri-apical and bitewing x-rays

Digital impression scanning

Familiarity assisting with all general dentistry procedures

Coronal polishing and fluoride application

Fabricating temporary restorations

Taking preliminary alginate impressions

Charting in practice management system

Maintaining a clean and safe environment according to established protocols including OSHA & CDC
