Old Hat is hiring Cooks and Bartenders!

Successful Old Town Bar is looking to expand its hours. We are looking for Cooks.

We're a non-corporate restaurant in Alexandria, Virginia, seeking dedicated and enthusiastic individuals to join our team. Our goal with these hires is to open for a full 6-7 days a week and to fill out our brunch staff. We have needs for both AM and PM shifts.

Cook Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook dishes

Ensure food quality and presentation

Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace

Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies

Cook Qualifications:

Previous cooking experience

Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices

Ability to work efficiently and follow instructions

Bartender Responsibilities:

Prepare and serve drinks in a timely and organized manner with attention to detail

Maintain a clean and organized bar area.

Foster a welcoming atmosphere.

Handle cash and process payments accurately.

Bartender Qualifications:

Previous bartending experience strongly preferred. Craft experience helpful, but not necessary.

Some knowledge of cocktail recipes helpful

Strong interpersonal skills and a friendly demeanor.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions
