Position: Line Cook

Location: Taco Chinoz and Bar, Centreville, VA

Our fast-growing Centreville location is known for its dynamic menu and exceptional service. We’re looking for skilled and passionate line cooks to join our kitchen team and contribute to our culinary success.

Responsibilities:

Food Preparation: Prepare ingredients and cook menu items to Taco Chinoz standards, ensuring consistent flavor, quality, and presentation.

Station Management: Set up, stock, and maintain cleanliness at assigned cooking stations.

Efficiency: Work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced kitchen environment to meet service demands.

Menu Knowledge: Be familiar with the Korean-Mexican fusion menu to prepare dishes as ordered and accommodate special dietary requests when possible.

Quality Control: Monitor food stock and storage, ensuring proper handling and freshness of ingredients.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with other kitchen staff to maintain a smooth workflow during busy service hours.

Sanitation: Follow all food safety and hygiene protocols to ensure a clean and safe kitchen environment.

Equipment Care: Operate kitchen equipment properly and report any maintenance needs promptly.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a line cook or similar role in a high-volume kitchen.

Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen equipment.

Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Attention to detail and commitment to food quality and presentation.

Team player with excellent communication and organizational skills.

Knowledge of or interest in Korean and Mexican cuisines is a plus.

Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
