Local Restaurant Group Seeking Kitchen Manager
District of Columbia, Washington 00000 Washington USADC Restaurant Group (with two downtown Washington DC locations) is seeking an experienced, organized and detail oriented person to join the culinary team and assume the role of Kitchen Manager.
Position Offered: Kitchen Manager (This is a working position. You should expect to be on the line 4-5 nights per week)
A hands-on approach to develop and promote teamwork for all back of culinary employees.
Upholding the professional standards of food safety, food handling and sanitation requirements to ensure the health and safety of staff and guests.
Understand flavor profiles, simplicity of ingredients with finesse
Runs a quiet kitchen
Able to handle organizing the prep and delegate to staff when needed
Bring creativity to the menus and create any specials for the week.
Ensure consistent execution of company policies.
Manage kitchen labor hours, COGS and kitchen waste.
Maintain core values to all new hires and existing team.
Able to do daily night ordering
Attend all necessary senior management meetings.

You have 2-3 years working as a line chef or Chef de partie, at an upscale casual restaurant
Strengths in maintaining targeted Labor costs and targeted COGS.
You take the initiative and don't give up
You have 2 business references that we may contact, from previous positions
Able to work with ownership and management effectively
