CASHIER

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Greets customers with a smile while receiving orders and processing payments

Prepares and packages food and drink products if necessary

Upselling when appropriate

Stocks inventory items as needed

Complete any tasks assigned by the Manager on Duty

Prompt and regular attendance on assigned shifts

Acts with integrity and honesty, and promotes the culture of Vibes Southern Cuisine

Must interact in a positive and professional manner with Guests and coworkers

Willingness to work multiple stations

Collect cash and credit payments

Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas

Ensure the restaurant is always clean and welcoming for guests

Ability to take verbal directions

LINE PREP

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

A Line Prep prepares food using recipes and menu items created by the Executive Chef and helps keep the kitchen running smoothly. Some of your key duties and responsibilities include:

Assisting with stocking and setting up the kitchen stations

Help to prepare food including cleaning and cutting the ingredients

Plating prepared foods

Working with food runners to ensure that orders are completed according to request and on time

Washing and cleaning the kitchen and cooking utensils and storing the equipment at the end of shifts

Ensuring that the kitchen operation procedures and hygiene meet food safety standards and regulations

Follow presentation specifications

Restock items as needed throughout the shift

Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes

Ability to take verbal directions

Physical Requirements (must meet physical requirements of the position)

Consistently kneel and follow proper lifting procedures

Consistently stand during serving customers or at register

Must be able to walk, bend, twist, kneel, push, pull and move objects

Good hand dexterity and eyesight is critical when working with kitchen equipment

Must be able to stock, reach up to high shelving and stoop to lower shelving, while lifting food products weighing up to 20+ pounds
