In this vital role you will play a key role in the management and advancement of Amgen’s global Procure to Pay (P2P) systems. You will lead all aspects of the P2P system operation and maintenance. The role will identify and lead opportunities to drive technological advancement and automation across various P2P platforms. In addition, you will be responsible for sustaining and evolving a strong controls environment across Amgen's P2P systems. This role will partner closely with various P2P Process Owners (Vendor Master, Procurement, Invoicing, and Disbursements), P2P Regional Service Delivery Leads, and Digital Technology & Innovation.As a Finance Senior Manager you will:

Work closely with P2P Process Owners to analyze business requirements for system changes and translating them into efficient and effective systems solutions.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify system improvements, perform data analysis, troubleshoot issues, and support system implementation and maintenance.

Provide expertise in business process analysis and technology will contribute to the successful delivery of IT solutions that drive operational efficiency and meet business objectives.

Lead system updates and upgrades, as well as finding opportunities to improve and transform existing and new system platforms through new technologies, automation, and AI.

Ensure system compliance with Amgen’s policy and procedures and having a strong controls understanding and knowledge-base.

Doctorate degree and 2 years of Finance experience, Doctorate degree and 2+ years of Finance experience, OR

Master’s degree and 4 years of Finance experience, OR

Bachelor’s degree and 6 years of Finance experience, OR

Associate’s degree and 10 years of Finance experience, OR

High school diploma / GED and 12 years of Finance experience

Preferred Qualifications:

P2P and ERP system knowledge, including Ariba, SAP, S4 Hana, Tungsten, Celonis, Tableau, etc.

Tenured experience in progressive finance / accounting / business process ownership experience

Pharmaceutical/Biotech experience

Detail oriented; strong business analytical skills

Strong written, verbal communication and presentation skills

Strong interpersonal skills; ability to influence personnel across functions and levels

Ability to thrive in ambiguous situations and help their team operate successfully a dynamic environment

Ability to think strategically
