Childcare Assistant

Summary:

Responsibilities:

- Provide attentive care and supervision for children in the daycare setting.

- Foster curiosity in children by delivering daily planned lessons, including activities such as painting, drawing, crafts, and singing.

- Clean and sanitize toys and play equipment regularly.

- Encourage positive behaviors by suggesting or implementing strategies like taking care of personal belongings and cleaning up after playtime.

- Observe and identify potential emotional or developmental concerns in children.

- Teach children essential health and hygiene habits, including eating, resting, and toileting.

- Assist with diapering and potty training.

- Ensure a safe and secure play environment at all times.

- Support meal and snack times by assisting with serving food and beverages to children.

Requirements:

- U.S. Citizenship or Green Card holder.

- Some experience working with children or a strong willingness to learn.

- Must be cheerful, loving, and patient.

- Ability to speak, understand, and read in English.
