District of Columbia, Washington, 20001 Washington USAThe role of a successful Systems Administrator I with Lenel S2 experience is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and support of security systems including access control, video surveillance, and intrusion detection systems. This job requires a person who remains professional, organized, detail and task oriented, as well as precise, thorough, and collaborative.Key Responsibilities:Install, configure, and maintain various security systems including but not limited to access control, video surveillance, and intrusion detection systems.Perform system upgrades and modifications to meet client requirements and adhere to industry standards.Work collaboratively with project teams to ensure the successful implementation and integration of security solutions.Promptly identify and resolve technical issues to maintain system functionality.Conduct diagnostic tests and use troubleshooting tools to analyze system performance and determine solutions.Provide both remote and on-site support to address client concerns efficiently.Engage directly with clients to understand their needs and respond to inquiries.Offer training and guidance to clients on system operation and maintenance.Foster positive client relationships through effective communication and problem resolution.Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of all service activities, including service reports, equipment inventory, and configuration changes.Collaborate with the technical support team to contribute to knowledge bases and share best practices.Ensure that all installations and services meet company and industry standards.Conduct regular quality checks and participate in quality improvement initiatives.Other duties assigned within reason of current role previously specified.100% onsite
