Lead Operations Associate (Flexible Hybrid)
District of Columbia, Washington, 20001 Washington USAJob Description THE IMPACT YOU WILL MAKEThe OMWI and Dand ;I - Sr. Operations Associate role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities:
Plan, prepare and execute OMWI Engagement Activities including: Offsites, Townhalls, team building, CDIO stakeholder engagements, Fireside chat series, and managing SharePoint/Teams Channel content.
Manage OMWI Enterprise Events (including Officer level events) in furtherance of Dand ;I learning strategy.
Support OMWI Communications Strategy (Internal/External) with Marketing and Communications including developing communications, reporting, narrative development and supporting engagement events.
Support Vendor Management including: manage Dand ;I memberships/partners, sponsorships relationships, vetting and onboarding.
Oversee External Awards and Benchmarking
Project manage divisional workplan, goals and priorities to identify concerns related to capacity or timeliness
Support technology innovation (new tools, automation)
Monitors the external environment (with a focus on Dand ;I hot topics and evolving industry trends).
Support divisional stakeholder engagement (Diversity Advisory Committee, Employee Resource Groups, Business Unit Dand ;I groups, Business Unit Strategy partners).
Identify needs of the business through understanding unit operations and broader enterprise context.
Coordinate stakeholders and team members to deliver strategic business initiatives.
Encourage team members to streamline efficiencies and drive productivity.
Qualifications THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAMMinimum Required Experiences
2 years related experience.
Adept at managing project plans, resources, and people to ensure successful project completion
Experience helping an organization to plan and manage change in effort to meet strategic objectives
Experience in the process of analyzing data to identify trends or relationships to inform conclusions about the data
Skilled in presenting information and/or ideas to an audience in a way that is engaging and easy to understand
Working with people with different functional expertise respectfully and cooperatively to work toward a common goal
Relationship Management including managing and engaging stakeholders, customers, and vendors, building relationship networks, contracting, etc.
Skilled in the graphical representation of information in the form of a charts, diagrams, pictures, and dashboards with programs and tools such as Excel, Tableau, or Power BI
Desired Experiences
Bachelor degree or equivalent
Influencing including negotiating, persuading others, facilitating meetings, and resolving conflict
Operational Excellence including improving and overseeing operations Business Insight including advising, designing business models, interpreting customer and market insights, forecasting, benchmarking, etc.
Skilled in Workiva, Litera, JIRA, SharePoint, Confluence, MS Copilot, Microsoft Teams, and Smartsheet.
