Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and occasionally suggest improvements to the architecture.Duties and tasks are standard with some variation; displays understanding of roles, processes and procedures. Performs moderately complex problem solving with assistance and guidance in understanding and applying company policies and processes. BS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 1+ year of software engineering or related experience.Required:1-3 years experience in delivering and operating large scale, highly available distributed systems.Strong JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Redux, RequireJS and HTML programming skills.Strong Web UI development experience utilizing UI frameworks and toolkits.Knowledge of Node JS, Yarn, Jest, Enzyme.Develop automated functional/integration tests and related artifacts using common industry tools and technologies such as Selenium.Excellent analytical and problem solving skills and ability/willingness to learn.Responsibilities:Database Management service offers comprehensive suite of database management and monitoring capabilities in Oracle cloud for Oracle autonomous databases, Oracle cloud database services running on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (VM and Exadata) as well as on-premise Oracle databases. Imagine working on a real-time control panel for complex systems including fleet of databases and to provide customers with ultra-zoomed snapshot of what is happening in this precise moment and what was going on in the past and enable customers to slide and dice performance data, identify abnormal patterns or change in workloads, pinpoint exact requests that are causing performance issues in real time.We are looking for hands-on software engineers with expertise and passion in solving difficult problems in distributed systems, virtualized infrastructure, and highly available services. You should be a strong UI developer with experience in developing front end using HTML/CSS/React/Javascript. Your work will require you to interact and co-ordinate with people working in different areas of the stack. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
