ERP Enabled Finance Transformation Consultant

Support an ERP Enabled Finance Transformation project can lead and provide support, agnostic of the system, to give the clients impartial advice and opinions
Analyze and reengineer business processes to meet audit, financial management, and mission objectives
Evaluate IT system portfolio capabilities and modernization roadmaps to comply with Administration objectives
Perform in-depth analysis on financial data/transactions using advanced analytics/automation technologies
Implement revised organizational governance and reporting structures to support client management functions
Develop and present work products and materials to executive leadership
Assess and provide options on innovative solutions such as automation
Provide insights for strategic discussions regarding the ERP system modernization efforts and integration from a Risk/Issues, Decision, Action Item perspective
Manage critical path updates based on the info gathered from Technical and Functional SMEs
Streamline internal processes to gain efficiencies across workstreams through cross-collaboration and providing transparency
Support the process efficiencies and provide the propose language to capture decisions in order to align with the establish Federal Standards new requirements
Consider governance structure and proper mitigation strategies for audit requests and possible findings
Possess and apply expertise for mitigation strategies to close gaps to ensure Policy and Process compliance to identify potential risks, lessons learned, and areas for continuous improvement, and make connections across unique process
Project and task management skills to structure/prioritize actions and develop high quality work products and deliverables on time

Bachelor's degree required
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
Must be able to obtain and maintain the required clearance for this role
Ability to travel 5-25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
2+ years of experience supporting complex financial and functional business processes, systems and data challenges to support people, process and technology documentation to identify critical gaps in execution of work outside ERP system and tools
2+ years of experience supporting ERP or technology driven transformation to financial system modernization efforts
Preferred:
Prior professional services or federal consulting experience
Masters of Business Administration (MBA) degree
Proven experience effectively prioritizing workload to meet deadlines and work objectives
Demonstrated ability to write clearly, succinctly, and in a manner that appeals to a wide audience
Strong communication and presentation skills with ability to refine/simplify complex finance and audit remediation concepts and solutions to key client stakeholders
Project and task management skills to structure/prioritize actions and develop high quality work products and deliverables on time
Strong communication and presentation skills with ability to refine/simplify complex budget, finance and acquisition processes within the ERP system and understand the functional areas business events to identify process improvements
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $84,600-$141,000.
