Customer Service Representative

Description We are in search of a Customer Service Representative to become an integral part of our team in WASHINGTON, District of Columbia. The role involves interacting with customers and performing clerical administrative duties within the housing industry. This is a short-term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Interact with customers on the housing waitlist or those looking to apply Collect, scan, and file physical documents Update and maintain the company database meticulously Answer inbound calls and provide excellent customer service Perform data entry tasks and order entry duties efficiently. Requirements Must have experience in customer service Proficiency in data entry and order entry is required Ability to handle and resolve customer inquiries and complaints effectively and efficiently Excellent telephone etiquette and ability to manage inbound calls Strong interpersonal and communication skills Capable of multitasking and prioritizing in a fast-paced environment Computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite High school diploma or equivalent, higher education or certifications in related fields are a plus Demonstrated ability to work in a team-oriented environment Available to work in different shifts, including weekends and holidays if necessary Bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus, but not required Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.
