We are seeking a Tools Lead to join our team to transform the future of maritime vehicles within the U.S. Navy. The right candidate will have te chn ical expertise and experience with DevSecOps and CI / CD pipeline development to rapidly evolve autonomous capabilities in Unmanned Maritime Vehicles ( UMVs ) .As a Tools Lead on our team, you will have the chance to help bring the vision of a Sof tware Factory for autonomous development to life for a Navy client. You will apply spe cia lized knowledge of cloud-specific te chn ologies and services, leverage expertise in the Cloud Command Line Interfaces ( CLI ) and Cloud SDKs, comprehend cloud architectural constructs, and establish and maintain cloud environments programmatically using vendor consoles or third party tools. You will build enterprise systems and Infrastructure-as-a-Service ( IaaS ) and Platform-as-a-Service ( PaaS ) solutions to provide direct te chn ical engineering, deployment, and sustainment support across the Cloud architecture and solution life cycles.You'll recommend tools and capabilities based on your research of the current environment and knowledge of cloud-based resources. You'll work with our cloud team to inform strategy and architecture design. You will be responsible for implementing design patterns for distributed systems and configuring and managing CI / CD pipelines. This is an opportunity to stay on top of the latest cloud resources as you lead efforts to prototype using multiple te chn iques and new te chn ologies. You will be able to broaden your skillset into the areas of cloud security, digital engineering, and pipeline development while gaining experience with autonomous te chn ology. The world can't wait.You Have:- 5+ years of experience with professional IT
- 2+ years of experience with designing deployments of IaC and CaC via tools, including Terraform or Helm
- 2+ years of experience with DevSecOps and using CI / CD tools, including Gitlab, Git, and Kubernetes
- Experience with engineering solutions in a multi-cloud environment, including Amazon Web Services ( AWS ) services
- Knowledge of microservice design and architectural patterns
- Knowledge of allocating, configuring, and monitoring cloud-based resources, including virtual machines, storage, and networking components
- Secret clearance
- HS diploma or GED
- Security + Certification
- Experience with Micro sof t Azure
- Experience with Zero T rus t
- Experience with Site Reliability Engineering
- Ability to follow established systems engineering and sof tware development principles
- Ability to work within a collaborative team in a fast-paced dynamic environment
- Ability to be a self-motivated and continuous learner
- Bachelor's degree
- Certified Kubernetes Administrator Certification
