Support the full lifecycle of identified FAA projects, to include scheduling, tracking, and reporting. Provide advisory and analytical support for development of strategies, planning and implementation activities. Support the planning, developing and implementing strategic plans and schedules. Generate program/project status, cost and schedule indicators, project schedule trends, critical path analysis, and schedule optimizations. Develop and analyze weekly/monthly reports on business related metrics. Identify potential project trends and risks to management. Support creation of cost estimates for procurement action. Serve on project teams to participate in project meetings and develop required documentation, to include controlled FAA documents, meeting minutes, and action items, as required. Specific Job Functions:- Provide project planning support to track progress to schedule, track and follow up on action item resolution, and report on all assigned projects.
- Create, maintain, and/or improve processes, budgets, and schedules
- Provide technical analysis and preparation of technical documentation.
- Acquire subject knowledge through research and consultation with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to provide recommendations for improvement and/or resolve any technical issues.
- Support other customer-specific technical and project documentation, including writing, editing and conducting peer reviews.
- Support IPT activities, coordinate status meetings, communicate with management, and produce detailed reports.
- Identify process improvement opportunities to best support project reporting, business processes, and the rebalancing of requirements.
- Analyze customer needs and make recommendations for information development and communication plans.
- Experience within the aviation industry or the FAA is preferred.
- Experience with airport traffic control tower (ATCT) operations a plus.
- Strong oral and written communications ability on significant technical matters often requiring coordination within a high-tempo environment.
- Expertise with MS Office Suite.
- Capability to work independently or as a member of a project team.
