DescriptionAs the Senior Property Project Manager, the incumbent is responsible for overseeing property related projects and operations within an organization. This role involves managing the planning, execution, and delivery of property projects, such as renovations, expansions, or relocations. They collaborate with various stakeholders, including internal teams, contractors, and vendors to ensure successful project outcomes. The role also calls for establishing project goals, developing project plans, and allocating resources effectively. These individuals also monitor project progress, track milestones, and manage risks and issues that may arise. Additionally the incumbent may provide leadership and guidance to team managers and professionals, ensuring effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifestyle.Primary responsibilities include
While receiving a moderate level of guidance and direction, the incumbent is responsible for stakeholder management, which includes collaborating with internal teams, contractors, and vendors to ensure effective communication and coordination and the management of stakeholder relationships.
Additionally, the incumbent is responsible for budgeting and cost control , which entails the use of best practices and knowledge in the development and management of project budgets and monitor project expenses and implement cost control measures.
In addition to stakeholder management and budgeting and cost control, the incumbent is also responsible for risk management.
The responsibilities pertaining to risk management may include identifying potential risks and develop risk mitigation strategies. Lastly, the incumbent is responsible for team leadership and collaboration, which involves, fostering a collaborative team environment, acting as a resource for colleagues with less experience, and promoting open communication and teamwork.
Qualifications, Education, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business or related field of study
5+ years qualified experience in commercial project/construction management
Qualified experience includes work in project management, major construction field experience, project estimating, project controls, project engineering, and/or comparable internal or external experience in a competitive production environment
Hours & Work Schedule
M-F with occasional work on weekends or after hours
Travel-25%, including some overnights
