HVAC Lead Installer
Connecticut, Northwest CT 00000 Northwest CT USAHome Comfort Practice, Inc. (https://www.homecomfortpractice.com/) is expanding its HVAC department. We are currently hiring for a Lead HVAC Installer. Company uniforms, vehicle, and tools are provided.
Responsibilities for Lead HVAC installer:
+ Full installation of new and replacement systems from cooling to heating
+ Provides a thorough evaluation of the HVAC system with the customer using an exploratory technique to understand the clients needs and develop options that meet customer needs
+ Tests pipe, tubing joints and connections for leaks, using pressure gauge, leak detection additives
+ Tests electrical circuits & components for continuity, using electrical test equipment
+ Repairs & replaces defective equipment, components & wiring
+ Discusses heating and cooling system malfunctions with clients to isolate problems and verify that repairs corrected malfunctions
+ Designs, fabricates and installs various ducts and duct fitting as required
+ Provides guidance and knowledge to HVAC apprentice on proper skills and training of HVAC installation jobs
+ Strong leadership skills and ability to prioritize jobs and tasks
Qualifications for Lead HVAC installer:
+ At least 2+ years of demonstrated HVAC experience
+ Appropriate Certifications/Licenses for the State of CT
+ Must also have experience with Plumbing and Piping
+ Demonstrated experience with working with all types of residential heating & cooling systems
+ Must be able to perform functions of the position which include utilizing safety guidelines and job hazard analysis and ensuring staff is using PPE as required
+ Possess good physical endurance and strength plus excellent written and verbal communication skills
+ HVAC with refrigeration background a plus
+ OSHA Certifications
+ Must have valid drivers license
+ High School or GED
+ Continued desire to learn and develop HVAC skills
+ Must be able to work overtime or weekends as needed
