Assistant Property Manager for Family Real Estate Business

Local family-owned property management company seeking reliable, skilled individual to help manage our portfolio of Connecticut Housing rental properties located in Lower Connecticut River Vally: East Hampton, Colchester, East Haddam, Middletown, Lyme area

What You'll Do:

-Perform repairs and maintenance -primarily focused on unit turnover, including carpentry, painting, plumbing, cleaning

and minor electrical work

-Handle property upkeep: mowing, trimming, and general exterior maintenance

-Respond to tenant maintenance requests and complete work orders

-Conduct property inspections and identify needed repairs

-Coordinate with tenants for access and communicate professionally

-Help with turnovers between tenants (cleaning, painting, repairs)

-Maintain accurate records of work completed

What We're Looking For:

-Strong hands-on experience with home repairs and maintenance

-Solid carpentry, painting, and general handyman skills

-Solid practice of Safety First

-Working knowledge of plumbing and basic electrical (you don't need to be a licensed electrician, but should be comfortable with switches, outlets, fixtures)

-Own basic tools (power tools, hand tools - we provide specialty equipment, mowers

-Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license.

-Good communication skills with tenants and our small team

-Able to work independently and manage your time

-Honest Problem-solver who takes pride in quality work and positive mindset.

Location: Lower Connecticut River Vally: East Hampton, East Haddam, Middletown, Colchester, Lyme

We Offer:

-Consistent work year round with +30 Year Family Business

+$22-$+30 depending on experience/hour + mileage

Flexible schedule with some independence

Variety of work (no two days are exactly the same)
