Pest Control Technician

A&A Pest Control Co, a pest control industry leader, is preparing for its next Pest Control Apprenticeship program. This program was established to create a career path for exceptional talent to enter the pest control industry. We teach you everything! No experience needed! The goal of the program is to graduate a class of well-trained service professionals with the technical knowledge and service acumen necessary to launch a promising career in pest control. After attending a common core program, you will be placed into a specific discipline focusing on one of the following:

Commercial pest control

Residential pest control

Apprentices benefit from experiencing one-on-one training. They will have full exposure to A&A family culture and learn what differentiates us in the industry. You are likely to form friendships and camaraderie with fellow mentors, and team members that you will carry forward into your new career.

Program Details

5-7 weeks of PAID hands-on training

Graduates will become Registered Technicians in the state of Connecticut

Graduates will also be on a career track for future promotions after graduation in:

NO previous pest control experience required

You are fascinated by science and bugs

You enjoy the challenge of mastering new skills and technologies

You enjoy working outdoors

You enjoy solving problems and providing WOW! Moments for customers

You have mechanical aptitude

You are goal-driven, an independent self-starter, and naturally demonstrate your integrity and character at work

You are physically able to lift and carry 50 pounds

You can easily handle a ladder

You can communicate clearly in written and verbal skills

You have a valid Driver's license with less than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years

You are able to pass a required background check once a job offer is extended
