Dental Assistant

Farmington Village Dental is a single location, privately owned (non-DSO, non-corporate), general dentistry office looking for the perfect person to join our assisting team. The doctors bring their dog to work so you must love dogs to work here.

Responsibilities:

All essential functions of being a dental assistant

Accountability in your duties as a dental assistant

Willingness to become cross trained for front desk responsibilities

Teamwork, including being patient and kind to your teammates

Being non-judgmental towards patients and team members

Willingness to learn new skills and embrace new ideas from other team members

Requirements:

DANB certified or equivalent

Infection Control and Radiation certified

Experience with Open Dental preferred

Experience with YAPI preferred

Pay: dependent upon experience, credentials and capabilities

Additional Details:

Doctors prefer to work out of one chair and see one patient at a time. Only occasional double booking.

Exposure to all aspects of general dentistry including implant placement and ortho

We order and update instruments, equipment, products, etc. as requested that support assistant efficiency and longevity.

Our doctors respect and work together with the assistants as a team.
