Medical Assistant

Description:Job description: Clinical tasks such as taking medical histories, recording vital signs, explaining treatment procedures to patients, collect and prepare laboratory specimens and/or swab testing, perform basic laboratory tests on the premises, dispose of contaminated supplies, sterilize medical instruments, arrange examining room instruments and equipment, clean and organize waiting and examining rooms, instruct patients about medications and special diets, authorize drug refills as directed, telephone prescriptions to a pharmacy and prepare patients for x-rays.
