Stockroom Clerk

Eaton’s IS AER FED division is currently seeking a Stockroom Clerk.The hourly rate for this position is $18-$20 per hour.Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.What you’ll do:PRIMARY FUNCTION

The person in this role will take physical counts of predetermined parts and reconcile inventory records. Receive, identify, and manage storage and issuance of materials in the stockroom, in accordance with departmental processes.

SECONDARY FUNCTION:

Act as Assistant in the Shipping and Receiving departments. Duties include customer order packaging and shipment processing, and receiving of incoming supplier materials.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Issue materials, supplies, and chemicals according to proper requisition documentation (Work Order, Pick List, etc). Verify that all documents issued are updated to the latest revision.

Deliver material to user departments as needed. Count, package, and store incoming material into stock locations.

Maintain stock records in accordance with established control systems (receipt, issuance, returns, etc) on bin cards and in the MRP system.

Physically count parts in inventory, enter cycle counts and adjustments for reconciliation according to schedule and cycle counting procedures.

Perform housekeeping functions to maintain stock storage area in a neat and orderly fashion, and ensure most effective utilization of all storage areas.

Perform daily filing of all working documents after parts have been stocked.

Contribute to plant-wide Continuous Improvement efforts.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required.

Minimum 1 year experience in a stockroom, or warehouse, or manufacturing environment required, with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) experience.

Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.
