Principal Software Developer

TITLE: Principal Software DeveloperLOCATION: Greenwood Village, ColoradoJOB SUMMARY: Design, modify, develop, write, and implement software programming applications. Support and/or install software applications/operating systems. Participate in the testing process through test review and analysis, test witnessing, and certification of software. Develop and execute formal test plans to ensure the delivery of quality software applications. Participate in test planning, writing test cases/scripts, test case automation, and test execution. Work on projects of high complexity within one or more development environments and on multiple programs/systems. Lead onshore and offshore assets through effective delegation. Track multiple test efforts simultaneously and synthesize the results in fast-paced environment. Utilize HP Test Suite or other Testing Tools, including Java, Splunk, Datadog, and Sentinel One. Deliver quality process training to technical staff and act as an internal quality consultant to advise or influence business or technical partners. Provide on-call rotation support as needed. Administer AWS Cloud Services platforms and Linux operating systems. Conduct CHAOS and Performance Engineering (JAVA/J2EE), Resilience and Reliability Engineering, and DevOps in large enterprise environment. Develop software using Java and J2EE, as well as performance and functionality validation of Java applications. Build and modernize applications using a Spring Boot framework. Strategize and solution the deployment of containerized applications using Kubernetes, Istio, and Redis, as well as review application architecture and optimization. Monitor application performance using Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, JMeter, LoadRunner, or IntelliJ.EDUCATION/REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Engineering (any), or a related field.5 years of experience administering AWS Cloud Services platforms and Linux operating systems; conducting CHAOS and Performance Engineering (JAVA/J2EE), Resilience and Reliability Engineering, and DevOps in large enterprise environment; developing software using Java and J2EE, as well as performance and functionality validation of Java applications; building and modernizing applications using a Spring Boot framework; in strategizing and solutioning the deployment of containerized applications using Kubernetes, Istio, and Redis, as well as reviewing application architecture and optimization; and monitoring application performance using Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, JMeter, LoadRunner, or IntelliJ.
