Job Description:

As a Garage Door Technician at Preferred Garage Doors, LLC, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining garage doors and openers. In addition to your technical skills, you will also have the opportunity to identify sales opportunities, upsell services, and contribute to the growth of the business by providing customers with tailored solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, repair, and maintain garage doors, openers, and related components.

Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues quickly and professionally.

Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell additional products and services to customers.

Effectively communicate with customers, explaining services, answering questions, and offering solutions.

Ensure all work is done with safety, quality, and customer satisfaction as a priority.

Maintain a clean and organized work environment and handle tools and equipment safely.

Assist in generating new business through referrals, positive customer interactions, and a strong sales approach.

Provide top-notch customer service to build lasting relationships.

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a garage door technician or in a related field preferred.

Solid understanding of garage door systems, openers, and related components.

Proven sales experience with a history of meeting or exceeding sales goals.

Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication and customer service skills.

Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Valid driver’s license.

Ability to lift heavy objects and work at heights.

Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a commitment to customer satisfaction.
