Diesel Mechanic

We are a small family-owned construction company that is growing. We provide dirt work for major home builders in the area. We are hiring a Heavy Equipment Mechanic to help with daily duties. This position reports to the Shop Manager.

Responsibilities:

Ability to work in shop as well as in the field regardless of weather

Primary work on heavy equipment but ability to competently work on numerous other types of equipment.

Run Errands (Picking up parts)

Providing support to the field staff

On call availability

Qualifications:

2 yr + Heavy Equipment Mechanic or Diesel Mechanic experience required

Attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Self-motivated

Good attitude

Punctual

Strong in organizational skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to complete annual DOT inspections is a plus

Pay depending on experience

After 90 days we offer Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance

One week Vacation after 1 year
