Garden Supply Sales Associate

City Floral is hiring for a retail associate in the garden supply department. This is a full-time permanent position.

Essential Functions and Duties:

provide superior customer service with garden supplies and merchandise

The ideal candidate will possess a background in fertilizers, pesticides, lawn care, soil amendments, and aquatic plants

The ability to identify pests & diseases through samples, photos, or in person, then provide solutions, products, or advice

Truck unloading and transporting merchandise between receiving stations, warehouse, and backstock areas

Merchandise sale floor displays and ensure products are fully stocked

Execute daily work instructions received from the Supervisor promptly.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

Teamwork and Communication skills – good verbal communication and ability to work on a team to coordinate and effectively complete activities during a shift

Must be 18 years or older and eligible to work in the United States

Must be able to work in all Greenhouse conditions

Must be able to work with repetitive motion

Must be able to stand/or walk for at least 8 hours

Must be able to lift or move up to 50lbs, and push/pull racks on wheels of 100lbs with or without reasonable accommodation.

All applicants must have reliable transportation, must be dependable, work weekends, over time and 6 days a week when required
