Immediate Need for Building Engineer

Requirement for a Building Engineer/Maintenance Tech.

Development and management company looking for someone to add to current staff. To allow team to more effectively cross train and focus on building improvements vs. just keeping up with the day to day responsibilities.

Job Description: Responsible for managing commercial building and on rotation for several other commercial and multi-family properties. You will be responsible for assisting commercial tenants with all their requests including knowledge of air handlers, boilers, chillers, dual system rooftop units, hot water heaters, elevators and life/safety systems. Also if needed be available to support apartment residents with work orders, apartment unit turns, grounds maintenance (including snow removal) and continuous value add projects around all properties as a backup only. Looking for someone to take lead and manage inventory control process and efficient ordering process. On-call responsibility for nights and weekends on one building only.

Requirements: Experienced individual with plumbing, electrical, boilers and individual heating/cooling units. Extremely detail oriented, professional, with excellent customer service skills. Individual must have their own automobile and a great driving record. Previous experience working on office buildings is a requirement. A self-starter that doesn’t need to be told what to do and can help initiate value-add projects. Strong organization and computer skills as we convert to a paperless community. Someone that is a leader and understands the importance of leading by example and teaching the other technicians the right way to do things. Strong English verbal and non-verbal skills. Job responsibilities could stretch from Boulder to Colorado Springs, but main building would be at I-25 and Colorado Blvd.
