Caregiver / Home care assistant

Our established R&A healthcare facility is seeking a compassionate and experienced Caregiver/Personal Care Provider for the Denver Metro Area. This role is crucial in supporting clients with special needs, ranging from children to seniors, helping them maintain a high quality of life in a respectful and caring environment.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Impeccable communication skills and the ability to solve problems quickly.

Cheerful, receptive, kind, and compassionate demeanor.

Experience working with adults with mental deficits is a plus, but not required.

Reliable transportation is mandatory.

Valid driver’s license and auto insurance required.

Must be able to pass a background check (processing time: 5-7 business days).

CPR certification required within 90 days of hire.

Willingness to learn and be trained in non-skilled care.

Ability to respect and accommodate cultural and religious practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.

Perform light housekeeping duties to ensure a clean and organized living space. Cleaning up after whichever task is done. (if meals were made & if games were played)

Going out into the community if the client is in the mood or the weather is right.

Understanding what the clients’ disabilities are, and knowing when a bad day appears, as they will.

Demonstrate flexibility to adjust schedules for family events and changing needs.

Client Profile:

This client is a woman in her 70's who has traveled the world in her younger years. She suffers from TBI, broken back and she is Bipolar (med regulated). The client is a "free spirit" and has a whimsical personality and so much fun to work for! She is fluent in Spanish, but is not native in hispanic, and would like it if you spoke spanish as well, so she can keep her brain flowing. She has many treasures she has kept from her variety of travels and loves to talk about those days. She does tend to get off track with her visiting, so constant redirection is key with making sure things are completed in a timely manner. She needs assistance with keeping her home in order.

She does live in a secured community and you will be required to keep your DL on file for the front receptionist staff.

Her schedule is limited due to the variety of Doctor appointments she has on a weekly basis. Please see clients availability below:

Work Schedule:

Mondays: 8:30 am - 11 am

Wednesdays: 8:30 am - 11 am

Compensation: $19.00 per hour

Monthly pay is offered, with cash advances available. Additional hours can be provided by working with multiple clients to meet preferred scheduling needs.
