It fuels our passion and drives every decision we make.Job Posting TitleApplied Analytics Analyst PrinJob DescriptionThe Principal Applied Analytics Analyst will provide subject matter expertise while working with internal and external clients to provide consultation, analytic insight and understanding. This position will be responsible for leading complex analyses that create new business insights for use across Prime departments. The Principal Analyst will participate as a business lead in various Prime projects and application development, in addition to providing subject matter expertise and leadership regarding the creation and maintenance of analytic and reporting data warehouse information.Responsibilities
Execute department specific reporting and work with users and project teams to define new capability and report requirements
Verify the integrity of data, including data extraction, storage, manipulation, processing and analysis
Consolidate large data sets from a variety of sources to support specific business analysis efforts, identification of enhancements or solutions, and the prioritization of ad-hoc data and project requests
Provide leadership and subject matter expertise to Applied Analytics team and business partners on analytic projects, Prime corporate initiatives and application development; ensure the appropriate scope, timelines, deliverables and results for analytic projects and serve as primary contact for escalations
Work directly with clients and internal partners to provide consultation, analytic insight, and strategy, as well as produce data, models and analytics as required
Develop and execute enterprise-wide analytic recommendations to support Prime's strategic imperatives and business drivers; leverage statistical and other data analysis methods to identify quality issues and possible solutions or process improvements
Identify trends in analytic findings, project requests and solutions to influence Applied Analytics strategies across the enterprise
Serve as an analytics subject matter expert for cross-functional leadership; influence the development of practices to extract and maintain critical business data to support departmental or client analytics and reporting
Participate in the training and mentorship of team members and may provide work direction, oversight, and prioritization of projects and ad hoc requests for the Applied Analytics team

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Finance, Business or related field, or the equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience; HS diploma or GED is required
8 years of data management, data analysis, and/or report development experience within Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) or Healthcare
4 years of experience supporting client analytics and/or providing client facing consultation
2 years of experience working with data visualization tools and techniques
8 years of experience using SAS, SPSS, SQL, SXC or other data analysis tools
Must be eligible to work in the United States without need for work visa or residency sponsorship
Additional Qualifications
Progressive leadership experience
Previous experience working with large data sets and using analytic tools
Intermediate troubleshooting skills and demonstrated ability to problem solve through complex situations
Ability to effectively present complex information to a wide variety of audiences
Ability to establish rapport and effectively influence at all levels within an organization
Enhanced organizational skills with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills – ability to create complete formulas and efficient data manipulation.
Strong PBM industry knowledge; able to articulate the industry trends to clients and the impact of trends and changes to client financials
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience with statistical modeling and/or predictive modeling
SAS, SASEG, SPSS, and/ or SQL programming experience with large data sets
Project implementation experience
Experience working with an enterprise level data warehouse
Minimum Physical Job Requirements
Ability to travel up to 10% of the time

Reporting Structure
Reports to Sr Principal, Manager or Director in the Benefit Design Solutions & Modeling, Marketing – Campaign Execution, or Health Outcomes department
Potential pay for this position ranges from $109,000.00 - $174,000.00 based on experience and skills.
