Monitor fixed income portfolios to maintain key risk metrics, key rate duration exposure, proper asset class allocations and compliance with all investment guidelines
Raise trades on the Investment team’s behalf when required, solving data and compliance issues across systems in line with portfolio objectives
Manage cash and duration exposure for portfolios
Help gather market data and prepare presentations for investment team strategy meetings
Assess trades to ensure they will meet fund/client objectives, process, and guidelines while maintaining consistency across accounts
Work with Risk and other support teams to monitor portfolio adherence to risk-budgets and review performance attribution
Build and maintain strong relationships across various groups including PMs, Traders, Data Operations, Legal and Compliance
Use technology and applications to facilitate allocation and portfolio construction
Involved in ensuring the portfolio implementation process is efficient and funds remain compliant
Carry out other duties as assigned

Must have skills
Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in a business, math, finance or related field
At least 1-4 years of relevant work experience required
Knowledge of Bloomberg, Charles River and other market data platforms.
Knowledge of Fixed Income markets and products (investment grade, high yield, structured products, FX, derivatives)
Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Strong analytical mentality
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent attention to detail
Self-motivated and able to work independently
Strong interest in financial markets / macroeconomics and a desire to learn about investments and the analysis of fixed income market
Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and evolve relationships internally and externally
Excellent time management skills
Strong risk management skills
Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a fast paced environment
Where relevant, experience managing and developing other team members
Nice to have skills
A graduate degree is a plus
Knowledge of financial and quantitative risk modeling and/or VBA, Tableau, Python, R or other programming/coding platforms is a plus

Compensation information
The base salary range for this position is $75,000 - $105,000. This range is estimated for this role. Actual pay may be different. This role will be posted through August 19, 2024.

Annual Bonus Opportunity: Position is eligible to receive an annual discretionary bonus award from the profit pool. The profit pool is funded based on Company profits. Individual bonuses are determined based on Company, department, team and individual performance.
