SAP Manager

The SAP Configuration Manager will lead SAP SD and Transportation Configuration teams. Success will be measured by the team’s ability to consistently deliver significant business value through strong business partnerships resulting in a strategically aligned, innovative and high-quality portfolio of IT products and services for their respective areas. (S4HANA and GTS are in place with plans to implement EWM, TM and IBP by 2027.)

• This is a full-time direct hire position with a hybrid schedule of 2-3 days onsite in Denver, 80211
• The interview process will consist of two video interviews and the third onsite in Denver.

• Oversee SAP configuration teams, ensuring department plans and priorities meet strategic objectives
• Provide leadership, coaching and direction to staff
• Maintain and engaged team environment with an open communication culture

• Execute functional business plans and contributes to the development of IT strategies
• Provide guidance for major initiatives directed at simplification and driving cost efficiencies in support of long-term planning
• Drive initiatives to meet or exceed established SLAs

• Collaborate cross-functionally with business partners throughout the company
• Manages integration with other functional teams to achieve common business objectives and goals
• Provide direction to team members to identify, assess, recommend and configure IT components based on business requirements
• Prepare and maintain individualized skills assessments and associated development plans for team members that address needs and expectations
• Contribute to the maturation of internal IT processes and methodologies, as well as the overall IT strategy

• Maintain effectiveness and efficiency by partnering with business counterparts to define and deliver strategic business driven portfolio projects
• Manage IT portfolio projects through the entire project life cycle, including project planning, execution, monitoring, and controlling and closing
• Ensure project returns and benefits are tracked and reported in a timely manner

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
• Proven track record for solving business problems with SAP’s solution framework
• 2+ years of management and leadership experience
• Relevant Functional SAP configuration and support experience including at least two full lifecycle SAP implementations

• Excellent communication skills
• Demonstrated collaboration skills across the organization for application strategy, design, development, implementation and support
• SAP technical skills and ability to effectively communicate system issues to business partners
• Results oriented with a proven track record for solving business problems with SAP’s solution framework
• Use tact and diplomacy to exchange information and handle sensitive issues
